The Loft by The Sea in Tollesbury had made the following announcement:
“After the announcement that the government will no longer be providing free school meals during the half term for those less fortunate, we would love to do our bit for our local community and help.
We are currently open Fri, Sat and Sun for takeaways and on those days during Half Term, we would like to provide a nutritious packed lunch for your children if you are in the Tollesbury area and are affected by this shocking decision.

All information will be confidential and we ask nothing in return: there is no charge and it’s totally free.!
Where the government has stepped down, we are stepping up and making sure our local children get food they need over the school holidays. Times are even harder than usual and we all need to stick together during these difficult times, no child should go without!”
