Today Tollesbury Surgery posted the following information on their Facebook page.
Covid vaccination information:
The vaccination at the moment is in 2 parts, the second injection being 21-28 days after the first.
The first cohort of patients that are being invited are the over 80 year olds.
Some of our over 80 year olds have already had letters and texts and will be having both their vaccinations at Basildon hospital.
Please note the surgery had no prior knowledge of the information regarding Basildon Hospital.
Those that have not already been contacted will be contacted by Tollesbury Surgery to book an appointment elsewhere, very soon.
Those patients that are bed bound will be visited by District Nurses to administer the vaccination, but at the moment we have no timescale for this.
