TAYLOR’S CHARITY TRUST

Taylor’s Charity Trust originated from the legacy of Robert Tailler (or Taylor), formerly of Tollesbury. In his will dated 1652 he left two fields in Tolleshunt Knights and stipulated that the income from them should serve the needs of people in Tollesbury.

More than 350 years on, the charity continues to observe Robert Tailler’s wishes. Trustees: Jeremy Heigham (Chair), Isabel Adcock; Harry Nixon & Roy Clare. Secretary: Michelle Curtis.

We hold four meetings a year – February, May, September and November
