“It’s OK not to be OK”
We face unfamiliar times. Long days at home. Just excursions for essential supplies, or exercise. Some folk are working; many in the NHS and other vital services. People are worried for jobs, futures and finances. Those living alone and the vulnerable who must stay in suffer most, but CHECK-IN is for everybody.
‘Lockdown’ is an unfamiliar situation. Some thrive and find new ways to occupy time, while others find it hard to cope with isolation, social distancing and loneliness.
CHECK-IN respects privacy. It is a friendly offer to chat, to have a conversation. It’s open to neighbours, friends and family living in Tollesbury.
No one in our village needs to feel alone.
If you’re lonely, confused or just need a chat – call a Helpline to ask for a CHECK-IN Volunteer to phone for a chat.
